mother Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 i met up with a new venturerider.org member last night named Evan, what a great guy. we had lots to talk about, he is a very avid rider who has done many trips, and looking forward to joining in on many rides, meets and eats, and ice cream. we had a go at his new to him 88. sweet ride, very nice shape, but i would like to set up his carbs for him. is there anyone in and around Toronto that has a manometer for setting up the carbs. cheers, Scott:beer:
bmannon Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 i have been using a single gauge to do mine. have to hook it up to one carb at a time, but it works. advanceautoparts has a gauge for $30 some dollars that would work (not the one I have, but similar)
BigBoyinMS Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I just replied to KiteSquids thread about a 2 gauge set that Emgo and others sell for $35-$45. Or check my "$10 carb sync" thread and build your own manometer type.
