Tires for a 2007 RSV ? Avon? E3 ?

Scroll back a few threads, and you'll see motocycle super stores 10% discount for being a member here. I found they were the cheapest and free shipping.

 

I havn't made up my mind yet either, as I still have about 2k left on the tires , but will need to order some soon here

 

I have been running Avons (15,700 miles)but bought a set of Elite 3 so I will try them out..Motorcycle superstore was $224.00 and change, for the set with the discount,front and rear stock sizes,free shipping

...speed rating of "H", is that o.k.?

 

Shouldn't be a problem unless you plan on going over 130 mph

I have used both the E3's and the Avon Venoms. I would recommend the Venom over the E3. In my experence the E3's are inferior in traction / grip. They tend to slide around under hard braking and it doesn't take much to break them loose on wet pavement.

I'm having troubles finding the Venoms in the stock sizes for the bike

Thanks, looks like theres about a $50.00 difference between the E3's and the Venoms

 

I'll probabley just go with the Venoms at this point
