mkrieg Posted April 24, 2009 #12 Posted April 24, 2009 Looks like a steal for the price. Wish I could have lucked into something like that.
Yammer Dan Posted April 24, 2009 #13 Posted April 24, 2009 85 Brownie sitting out there waiting for me. Starting to like that Brown. First look at it was under bout 1/4 inch of dust. Don't go well with that brown. Thus it's name "UGLY" A 85 with only 20k. Still getting it back from all those garage years and **** windstorm but it's a keeper.
GaryZ Posted April 24, 2009 #14 Posted April 24, 2009 I picked my '85 brownie up for a good price and found the CB and air suspension systems bad. The air suspension system did not want to be fixed, so, I installed two air valves with pressure gauges at the back of the seat. I carry a small hand pump in the saddle bag for adjustments. I love this beast! I removed the rear bumper, trailer hitch, tail-pipe extensions and driver floor boards. These are for sale. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o318/GaryZ_photos/pix037b.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o318/GaryZ_photos/YamahaVenture01b.jpg

mkrieg Posted April 24, 2009 #17 Posted April 24, 2009 Wonders if the floor boards would fit a 87 Venture.
