spear Posted April 10, 2009 #1 Posted April 10, 2009 Greetings from Down Under, where it's Easter already. It's 11:15am Good Friday, and I've just had a sleep in. Got up and had a rumble with my new baby grand-son who is visiting for a few days, had a BBQ breakfast and am now going to veg out for the rest of the day. Just wanted to get in early (well, early for you guys on the other side of the international date line) to wish you all the best. If you're riding over the Easter break, do it safely. Catcha all later.
mini-muffin Posted April 10, 2009 #2 Posted April 10, 2009 Well happy Easter to you as well. Enjoy that grandbaby while you got him. Margaret

Her friend from Down Under was here for 2 months and my niece is going there now as an exchange student. She sounds like she is having the time of her life. Enjoy your relaxing Easter Holiday and you too:2132:. . . ride safe!
spear Posted April 10, 2009 Author #4 Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) Taters, You make that Sydney, and I'll believe you. Could think of better cities to be in, but Sydney's okay. Too damned crowded for my likings but I can handle it occasionally. It really is a beautiful place though. What's your niece doing there? Exchange student? Edited April 10, 2009 by spear
TATERS Posted April 10, 2009 #5 Posted April 10, 2009 Oh. . .Sorry. . . We have a granddaughter "Sidney" You're right. . .I better learn how to spell it. . .before I visit there right? My niece attends a boarding school in Canada. They had this very nice girl from Australia come and stay at there home. Yes. . .an exchange student. They really hit it off and became such good friends. . .Kirsten and her family wanted to return the hospitality and asked if they could have my niece come to stay with them for a couple of months. I tried to go with her. . .(as a chaperone) of course. . .told her I would carry her luggage. . . what ever she needed, but she wasn't buying it. Guess I'll have to talk to Big Tom about going on a trip. Ha! Ha!
Tom Posted April 10, 2009 #6 Posted April 10, 2009 Happy Easter to you and your family also Spear. Tom and Debby
