here it is. why is'nt the state people live in listed with their city under location, i notice most just have a city. then you have to go to their profile to find out where their from. sure would make things easier if states were listed. bill :2133:

Actually Bill, I think it is time someone starts a campaign to encourage and show people how to fill in more information, such as the type and year of bike they have and some other information. I know some are leery of giving out too much information, but I never had any problem giving my cell # because somebody may need my help. Others will not even tell you where they are from.

Also, in the VentureRider information under the city field, I put my city followed by the state abreviation, then also put the state info in the state field, as well.

You know what, I never even noticed that the city was shown on the right hand side.

Thanks for this thread. I have been going to the person's profile if I wanted to know where they were from.

one other thing, i noticed alot of people leave out there age. i know that is critical for the women, but we men should be proud of our age. with some of the things we pull in our life we're lucky we made it that far. i'm 66 and would'nt go back a year for anything. :clap2::)

I was very hesitant about revealing much about myself when I first joined the site but I ended up adding more info as time went on. I was able to develop an opinion of the site and I feel like everone here is a great group of people. I ended up adding a little more info than I orginally posted when I first joined. I have no problem with someone having a lot of personal info about myself for honest reasons. But you must realize, I am speaking as someone who has had their identy stolen and it was, and still is, a nightmare to deal with because there isn't an official authority you can turn to....you are on your own to deal with it. You might be able to get the police to fill out a report but that is as far as it goes. In most cases, you have no idea how someone got your personal information. As a result, you become VERY skepticle about revealing anything to anyone. In dealing with my identiy theft, I have spent many days trying to find out how my identy got stolen and you would be surprised at how little amount of info a bad guy needs to ruin someone. I hope no one here has to deal with some of the things I have had to deal with.

You can hover your pointer over their state flag and it will show you their state.

And I've been straining my eyes trying to read those little flags. :bang head:

Thanks for the tips guys.:clap2: This is the first forum I've spent much time on, and I keep learning new tricks all the time. :D
