Lone Eagle Posted April 8, 2009 #9 Posted April 8, 2009 I kinda like these, anyone know where to purchase these Bullet Tail Lights? Those do look really cool - and different. Does anyone know if you can just buy the lense and chrome cover - or do you have to replace the tail light unit?
YamaDuck Posted April 8, 2009 #10 Posted April 8, 2009 I don't know but I did notice that the tail light lens come in two colors and two sizes. 3" and 2 7/8". I measured my tailight turn signals and they appear to be 3". The lens we have on now screw straight in through the lens. The 59 Catty lens appear to slide into the chrome piece and the chrome piece appears to mount from the side. Now I don't have any of the pieces except the stock turn signals so I am getting this information from my own measurements, the picture in the first post, and the website that is selling the Catty lens. Whether or not I am correct or not I don't know. I am trying to find some used turn signal housings to verify all this with. I don't want to spend $95 for new ones from the Yamaha dealer.
