SteveB Posted April 5, 2009 #1 Posted April 5, 2009 Yesterday we had a freak wind storm come through and turned over our carport that was housing our bike. Luckily, it did no damage to the bike, but not sure how we're going to flip this thing back over...
Crash Posted April 5, 2009 #2 Posted April 5, 2009 I think you are going to need a lot of guys to help flip that back up. Glad no damage to your bike.
Monty Posted April 5, 2009 #3 Posted April 5, 2009 I see a big tree. You have a winch or a come-along? Glad the bike survived it. I have 3 foot stakes anchoring my carport.
flb_78 Posted April 5, 2009 #4 Posted April 5, 2009 No way would that have lasted here in the Panhandle. We had 60-70mph winds yesterday. Broke telephone poles off, and ripped a couple of roofs off some places. If you want to keep it around here, it has to be anchored very well.

BOO Posted April 5, 2009 #6 Posted April 5, 2009 I'd call the insurance company and ask them how THEY are going to flip it back over. Your pretty lucky though, didn't hurt the bike. Jerry
midnightventure Posted April 5, 2009 #7 Posted April 5, 2009 Wow. The wind has been blowing here but not like that.
midnightventure Posted April 5, 2009 #8 Posted April 5, 2009 I had a big tree fall on mine in the big ice storm and the insurance co. gave me 2000 for it. I had only paid 850 for it.
eazyduzzit Posted April 5, 2009 #9 Posted April 5, 2009 I finished building my barn in '07, week before last a tree fell on it and wrecked the roof. Insurance paid, but I'm still sick over it. I put a lot of work into it.
