randyg Posted April 5, 2009 #1 Posted April 5, 2009 Woke up this morning to 6" of snow. They say the Robins get snowed on three time before spring is truely here, well this is the third time here in S.W. Minnesota. O well the the bike's at the dealer getting alittle warranty work done before it goes out of warranty. If your riding today put on a few miles for me.
bendtdj Posted April 5, 2009 #2 Posted April 5, 2009 Randy G. It snowed here in Madison SD as well. "Offically" 5.5 inches. I had closer to 6.5 to 7 on my deck. I grew up in Luverne, still have family there. Hope to ride down there sometime SOON. Dave
KarlS Posted April 5, 2009 #3 Posted April 5, 2009 We are supposed to get 3-5+ inches tonight! Sunny and 37 now and if it hits 40 I'm going riding. I don't think it will ever warm up. Moving south getting closer and closer. 54 years of snow is enough.
Bubber Posted April 5, 2009 #4 Posted April 5, 2009 Well we got an inch or so and it is melting AGAIN! When will it ever end ?????? Puttsing with the scoot with a few mods so I can wait till Tuesday when it is supposed to be 50 or so. Bubber
bongobobny Posted April 5, 2009 #5 Posted April 5, 2009 Gee, I thought it was the frogs have to freeze 3 times before you plant...
maxantinlive.com Posted April 5, 2009 #6 Posted April 5, 2009 Snowing right now, Im so glad winter finally came, so sick of the sun and warmth!!!
waterbug Posted April 5, 2009 #7 Posted April 5, 2009 were getting rain here today and a nice thunder storm later I guess, please keep the snow up there as we are tired of it here and it messes up our riding time to much thank you. Hahahaha
adventurer 08 Posted April 5, 2009 #8 Posted April 5, 2009 The weatherman say were going to get hit tonite and tomorrow with 4 to 6 in.of snow. The only good part of that it is bring the lake levels up. So far the lake levels are up queit a bit from last year.
6pak Posted April 5, 2009 #9 Posted April 5, 2009 Got in about a hundred miles yesterday and went hiking at Ozone Falls (Rockwood Tn. About 70 yesterday. 75 today, but doing yardwork. It is supposed to get cool again tomorrow and tuesday (40s). 55 wed, and back in 60s by thursday.
scotty Posted April 5, 2009 #10 Posted April 5, 2009 The glaciers are receding here! I got her out for a short ride today (100Km) before she said she was getting cold. 5 degrees C or 41 F for the high. Yesterday was the my first ride of the year +2 C, but man it felt good!
Mikealiasmike Posted April 5, 2009 #11 Posted April 5, 2009 Lets see, how is the weather effecting me.../?? Lost the top 5 rows of shingles on east side of house yesterday due to wind, got water seeping in already due to gutter blowing off. Water softener is acting up and had to bypass it so we could shower w/o feeling like were bathing in the ocean. Hot water heater is for some reason plugging up (we have one of those on demand systems where you need a certain amount of pressure or it won't run) I guess the last couple were'nt weather related but I just had to throw them in for spectaculariam effect. Looks like I got homework to do. I hate winter.
