Is Chat Broken???

Just installed IE 8 this week now I'm having trouble logging in to chat...

Still on the old ie and I cant get it to load up either. Guess the chat room is down.

Shame chat is down, Mother and I had a few things to talk about, and my telephone has been broken for over a week. Bu Bye Verizon, hello Time Warner time...

I just tried it with my Firefox and it worked fine. I'll shoot an email to the chat host and see if they are having an issue with IE.

I just tried it from here....also with IE8 and it wouldn't load. Works fine with Firefox. I've emailed the host and will hopefully have an answer soon. Getting ready to get on the road again though so won't be able to check in again until later this evening.

OK folks...I just got it to work. I don't know what has changed but here is what I did.

 

In the menu bar of IE, click on "Tools", "Options" then the privacy tab. Click on "Sites" and add http://www.venturerider.org/forum/123flashchat.php and then "Allow".

 

That worked for me. I'll still try to find out what might have changed that now requires this entry.

Not only that but we are also using morris code as well!

I think there may be some issues with chat this morning. Twice I had to reload the page to get it to finish loading settings or process the login (Using Firefox 2.0.0.8).

Just tried it, not working for me either. I'm trying using FireFox.

I'm in there. Been in for over an hour (alone). I had to reload the page a time or 2 because it didn't ever finish processing the login.

Did anybody get to ride this weekend? We got to ride on Saturday and Sunday. When I should have been working in the yard, I went riding.
