Happy April Fools Day. I just hate practical jokes.

I would never play a practical joke on anyone. I think they are really cruel.

Ok so what is the best joke you have played on April Fools Day.

I need ideas.

when everyone was asleep, i got up and set all the clocks in the house ahead 2 hours. when our girls alarm clocks went off, we all got up and had breakfast together. only trouble it was not 7am, it was actually 5am. talk about women being grumpy.

i also taped down all the phone receiver buttons and used my cell to call the house.

I filled the powdered coffe creamer container with Eno and then sat back and watched the expressions when everyones coffe foamed over at coffee time.

Its not elegant but its worth a laugh.

13 years ago I was incredibly evil to my college room-mate. Replace the fuel pump relay with the Defroster relay. works great for the 10 minutes the defroster should be on for. then the fuel pump dies. car will not start until you turn the ignition off and then on again. Then it will run for another 10 minutes.

I also replaced his screen saver on his PC with one that looks like the computer crashed.

It was a payback... He dumped a box of feeder crickets into my room at midnight, it took me 3 weeks to get rid of them... :)

Yah but he has 364 days to think of them. It's a good thing he forgets most of them. :rotf:

These are all good April Fool Jokes.

I do not know what it is, but somehow I just feel different today. I guess I will figure it out tomorrow.

Ah paybacks can hurt. I got a good one for Sherry. Do you folks have any super glue?:whistling: Never mind what I would have her do with it.:stirthepot: It's a secret only for the gals.:innocent:

Now that I think of it might be way too embarrassing to go to the hospital afterward. :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:

We didn't have any fun at work today - just a post on the school intranet setting out more work with yet another new initiative (I've deleted the staff & student surnames):

New PSHE scheme

My apologies for the short notice but in my role as PSHE subject leader I have just been notified about an important new initiative to give pupils a greater say in the running of their schools. I have decided to post this into the chat area so that staff can give feedback as appropriate before the scheme comes into operation.

Schools are now expected to identify pupils to act as " Head of Year". These pupils will work closely with their adult counterparts. The relevant adult MUST consult with the nominated pupil before enacting any decisons regarding detentions, homework setting, putting children on report etc. It is expected that meetings will be set up during non-contact time for this consultation to take place. The following children have been nominated;

"Pupil Head of Year 7" - Grant xxxxxx

"Pupil Head of Year 8" - Danielle xxxxxx

"Pupil Head of Year 9" - Elijah xxxxxxx

"Pupil Head of Year 10" - Megan xxxxxxx

"Pupil Head of Year 11" - Xenos xxxxxxx

Schools are also expected to nominate pupils to act as counterparts to Senior Management. These children MUST be consulted and their approval sought before any managerial decisions regarding the day to day running of the school are enacted.

"Pupil Headteacher" - Sean xxxxx

"Pupil Deputy Head" - Treslin xxxxx

"Pupil Assistant Headteacher" - Osman xxxxxxx

Your feedback is welcomed but please note that we expected to bring this scheme into effect from today's date.
