I can crash them. I have at least 4 crashed RC planes in my life. One I spend 1000 hours building from balsa. Now I'm into RC helicopters. They crash far easier. Takes out all the effort in crashing them.

Well I been thinking about RC planes for many years, but , well, to much work,

to much expense.

 

But with the new, Electric models, I might just get into it.

 

Also, now the " Open Space " factor has been taken out of it, not to mention

the noise factor.

 

I was watching a guy fly a quiet Large Electric model couple weeks ago, at a local RC Open field. Pretty amazing, he was keeping up with the Gas models. !!

 

It was quite impressive.

Fling Wing - like a Bumble Bee - not supposed to fly. Although I have personally made enough tooth picks to fill a Piggly Wiggly. That's the reason for MonoKote. A handy bag to bring the parts home in.

My shop has four with frozen motors hanging in the rafters now.

The electric ones always looked like they would irritate the neighbors less, except for me asking permission to climb their trees to retrieve my flying thingy.

Ahhhh them electric jobs are very easy to crash, I have one in the basement now with a broken wing. Didn't make it over the chain link fence. The day before that I make it over the fence but crashed into the lake. Scared the hell out of the local alligator, he didn't like me wading around out there in my shorts fishing the plane out either.

Think chrome is expensive, try crashing hundred bills into the ground, make a grown man cry.

Before you guys think I was seeing alligators in northern Illinois let me say it was while I was in Florida last winter.
