Tell us more about the jacket, how large is large, does it have armour, how long are the sleeves, how wide are the shoulders and how long is it and how much room in the mid section.

The following measurements are with the jacket laying flat:

 

Sleeves from seam of shoulder 21 in.

From armpit to end of sleeve 17 in.

From neck to end of sleeve 25 in.

Around chest area under armpits all the way around the jacket is 40 in.

At the waist (bottom of jacket) all the way around the jacket is 40 1/2 in. with the

velcro undone.

 

From seam to seam at shoulders 18 1/2 in.

Middle of jacket all the way around 39 1/4 in.

From seam of collar to bottom of jacket is about 25 in.

 

This is a ladies size large. My wife wears a large in a shirt, but this is tight on her in the chest area.
