Cougar Posted March 25, 2009 #1 Posted March 25, 2009 ---- HANNIGAN ------ Should be Done Next Tuesday! Still needs the rake kit added. Chrome Fender tips still need to be added. I am so very impressed with this kit so far very well designed. Found out they do not even use your main drive at all they do have to send the old one back for a core charge. And the color match turned out perfect I was so worried about that part as nobody has been able to match the MM colors very well in the past for me. Here are a few pics , enjoy.... georgew48 Posted March 25, 2009 #2 Posted March 25, 2009 Looking good. Mine should be done next week also. I am going crazy waiting.
Cougar Posted March 26, 2009 Author #4 Posted March 26, 2009 WAY BETTER, CUZ IT'S MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT! FROM MY WIFE !
Cougar Posted March 26, 2009 Author #5 Posted March 26, 2009 George I have been pursuing this project for 5 months now and I AM EXHAUSTED! I can not tell you how I am so READY for this to be done. but it is worth the wait. Jeff
RandyR Posted March 26, 2009 #7 Posted March 26, 2009 interesting. I may take a look at their sidecars one day.
Monty Posted March 26, 2009 #8 Posted March 26, 2009 Nice. Hannigan Motorsports is only about 15 miles from my house, in Murray, Ky. Is that where your bike/trike is?
Carbon_One Posted March 26, 2009 #9 Posted March 26, 2009 Looking pretty good so far Jeff. Yea the waiting can be troublesome but that'll all be forgotten once you hit the road. Take your time getting used to the handling etc. It's not bad or anything just a bit different then being on two wheels. You too George. Later, Larry
GunnyButch Posted March 26, 2009 #10 Posted March 26, 2009 Monty, I had mine done in Murray around Christmas. Stop in there sometime and ask them to show you around. They are really nice people. They had mine promised for the day after Christmas and the tech worked until 9pm to get it finished so I could get on the road. Jeff, What part were you talking about on the core charge? Hannigan didn't keep anything off mine, I've got all the pieces in the garage.
Cougar Posted March 26, 2009 Author #11 Posted March 26, 2009 Gunny... the final drive shaft.. he think they might not want to have it back.. might be cuz he has to return the goldwings for a core charge. Monty, no it is at my authorized Hannigan dealer. Carbon, I want it soon *lol* and yes Gunna be a whole new world! All... thanks guys! Jeff
GunnyButch Posted March 26, 2009 #12 Posted March 26, 2009 They used the original drive shaft, the final drive they left on the wheel and it went into the bed of the truck with everything else. I sure would like to get rid of that stuff.
