Turn signal problems

Ok had a problem lift blinker is flashing faster than normal, the right side is fine. Got an 1157A bulb did the mod and still have the same problem, socket looks clean. Any idears?

Maybe get the right bulb...maybe it got damaged when you did the mod. 7507 or a BAZ bulb for turn signals on the newer Ventures.

Hell just install all LED's and forget swapping bulbs.

By mod, I ground off the lower ear so a normal 1157A bulb would work instead of a stock one. Turn signal has same problem as before I changed the bulb.

Make sure you put it in the socket the right way.

 

Does it flash bright???

 

You might swap right bulb for left bulb to see if the problem moves.

 

 

AND you should use a 2357A or if you can find it a 2357ALL (Long life) for more lumens.

You didn't say which bulb you replaced. I believe this is documented in the owner's manual, and IIRC, the bad bulb is on the side NOT flashing fast. Easiest thing is to turn on your 4-way flashers and check all bulbs for proper functioning. Replace the one that is not working.
