TEW47 Posted March 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2009 They are all made China, got a pair of hand made Vendramini waterproof touring boots from Donaldson cycles for $68. Can't beat that for a deal. tew47
Riderduke Posted March 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 24, 2009 I have been using these for a few years. Great boot in both cold and hot weather. these are the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. I'm on my third pair. the side zipper is also a plus. jrcain32 Posted March 24, 2009 Share #7 Posted March 24, 2009 "Im looking for anyone who have some Harley Davidson faded glory boots." I have a pair of H-D boots but I'm not sure if they are faded glory. They are 6" ankle boots with a side zipper. Once you get them broke in they are very comfortable. I got them from a co-worker who found them on sale and picked up an extra pair, $50. They may be made in China, but what's not. I'm happy with them... Christo Posted March 24, 2009 Share #8 Posted March 24, 2009 I need a pair of boots that are comfy. I don't want zippers, buckles, velcro - just slip-ons. Any suggestions?
mountainhorsega Posted March 24, 2009 Share #9 Posted March 24, 2009 I don't know about faded glory - They have the inside zipper (Which I usually hate but is ok on these) and the Harley badge on the outside of the ankle. They are not comfy for long periods - I have had them for over 6 months and CANNOT get them broke in to be comfortable. I hate walking more than a few hundred feet in them, I guess for sitting still, they aren't to bad but I walk a lot and I would try to find something more comfy. The only reason I bought them is because that was all I could find for a decent looking black boot. Everything else was combat boot looking things and I work in an office. Wish I could have just found a nice pair of black Justin lace up work boots but for some reason they stopped selling black around here.
waterbug Posted March 25, 2009 Share #10 Posted March 25, 2009 I have some HD boots with the zipper on the inside, I like the zipper on the inside but the boots are very heavy and when its real hot out my feet get to hot. I would love to find some boots that you get alot of air in them but have a hard soul that doesnt wear real fast on the bike.
