i have the 07 the manual says you can air the shocks up and tells psi but says o is standard. if this is right normal riding is ok at 0 are should i air them up?

A lot of people here leave the front forks at 0, some keep them at about 5 psi.

As far as the rear shock goes, I think 30 is "Normal" for 1 up and then they adjust for 2 up. However, the way the bike rides and handles is a personal preference thing and you should just play around and see what you like best.

thanks for replying I have been running the rear at 0 and like the way she rides but the book did not say to add air so I just wanted to be sure it was all aright to do it that way.

It's been my experience that 5# in front and at least 30 in back make the bike much more responsive and improves handling at all speeds especially curves and more stable coming to a stop due to less front shock travel stopping in a straight line. It is much more noticable with 2 up. As previous response you won't know what it can do for you till you experiment yourself.

I keep 5 lbs in the front and 30 lb in the rear riding single and 40 lb if riding double or pulling the trailer. 0 lb will bottom out with me riding single at the 330 lbs that I am......LOL.
