bongobobny Posted March 22, 2009 #1 Posted March 22, 2009 Thought I'd give a sneak preview of this year's upgrades on Goldie. I'm finally doing the MK2 upgrade of the brakes which includes replacing the front suspension. Here's the shocks as of today, waiting on the rest of the new parts... Brakes and Master Cylinders are already done as well as nice new SS lines. So are the Calipers. Now to install all these nice "Good as new" parts!

Guest Swifty Posted March 22, 2009 #3 Posted March 22, 2009 Boy you have been busy this winter, that 1st gen is gonna stop on a dime and give ya 9cents change:thumbsup2: craig ...so long as Bob remembers to put his foot down to catch the bike before he puts the change in his pocket.
Dano Posted March 22, 2009 #4 Posted March 22, 2009 Anytime you wanna stop by and work on mine, feel free! That setup is looking nice, Bob. One of these days I'll upgrade the front of mine, too. Gotta wait on these rebuilt forks to repay themselfs for a couple years, first! Are you going with the MK11 calipers or the R1s? Dan
bongobobny Posted March 22, 2009 Author #5 Posted March 22, 2009 MK2 and SS lines + a front master that's even bigger than the MK2...
Venturous Randy Posted March 22, 2009 #6 Posted March 22, 2009 ...so long as Bob remembers to put his foot down to catch the bike before he puts the change in his pocket. 7 Brings up memories of the Biltmore Winery I do believe. Bob, you are doing just what I was hoping to get done as a winter project and didn't. RandyA

RandyA Well, technically I DID put my foot down, except the point of no returncame before my toes touched the ground... Moral of the story, never stop sideways on an incline!
