JoeFab Posted March 21, 2009 #1 Posted March 21, 2009 I just wanted to say that I did the cassette removal mod yesterday and it's great! I made a nice little lined pocket to hold my ipod and whatever else. Thanks to the others who did this before me and posted the info online.

scotty Posted March 22, 2009 #5 Posted March 22, 2009 The first gens can also have the cassette removed. Makes for great Ipod holder. On the upside - there is no limit to what you can do with that big gapping hole when the deck is removed, like install an optional USB bus.
