Bought a bike

My youngest son is 16 so we bought a ninja 250. It is a 2001 with 2500 miles on it owned by an old guy who'd bought it for his wife but she didn't ride it. I figured it would be a good learner bike for him. I test rode it yesterday and will pick it up on Wd. After putting miles on the Venture, a 250 makes me giggle. I am thinking that a 16 year old that has only moped experience but doesn't know how to shift yet, it will be just what we want. It is cute and hopefully he can't get into too much trouble. And WOW, love that green color.
