Guest ReinyRooster Posted March 10, 2009 #1 Posted March 10, 2009 I rec'd this email today from Martin at Sirius:Can you stop the add for a week or two or just mention we are already sold out...we have about 100 more coming soon and I will let you know they are back in stock...getting flood of e-mails from your club already. Said he expects it to be a week or two before he gets more inventory, and he will let me know as soon as that happens. I'll post that info here when I get it. Guess we are keeping them busy!

Evan Posted April 19, 2010 #9 Posted April 19, 2010 I checked my carb diaphrams yesterday and found a few pinholes. Today I checked with Sirius and found that they still have these diaphrams in stock. Interested in any comments including how they fit (my bike is an 88VR), how they have worked out and how you removed the old diaphrams and installed these on your sliders - or other alternatives.
skydoc_17 Posted April 19, 2010 #10 Posted April 19, 2010 Hey Evan, I did a write up on this mod and here is the link: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32052 You will find a complete description with pics. I also offer these Diaphragms already mounted on sliders with the Needle Shim Mod installed if you are interested. Feel free to PM me. Good luck with your project! Earl
Venturous Randy Posted April 19, 2010 #11 Posted April 19, 2010 I checked my carb diaphrams yesterday and found a few pinholes. They work perfect and are a great deal. I put them on my bike and also helped elmicko put them on his bike. I recommend them highly. RandyA
CdnDave77 Posted April 19, 2010 #12 Posted April 19, 2010 I received my diaphrams in 2 days via Canada Post. The only issue I had was that one of the sliders split open (huge lengthwise crack) redering it useless. One of the prior 6 or 7 owners of my bike had used some sort of adhesive on the locking rings for the diaphrams. I was able to get another slider, installed the remaining diaphrams and VOOM ! Away it went. A very quick sync and it has never run so well.
Wizard765 Posted April 19, 2010 #13 Posted April 19, 2010 Marcarl helped me do mine and they fit perfect. Not a hard job. Great deal!!
