Freebird Posted March 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2009 "Spiders" are automated scripts used by Google, Yahoo, etc. to rank you in the search engines. Googe Adsense is part of the Google search engine. They browse the site basically to see what the content is all about and use that to know what kind of ads to use in the left menu where I have the Google ads listed.
