mrc Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Poor Northerner, I had him shaken in his shoes when I stripped his bike down. He told me he was nervous seeing his bike all torn down. One day of maintenance will take Northerner 3 days to recover:rotf::rotf:. She's back together and ready to ride. Great day all around. Pic http://www.venturerider.org/forum/album.php?albumid=298
bongobobny Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 He would really freak if he saw how far I'm taking Goldie down this year, Mark! I am totally replacing the front suspension and complete brake system, and replacing the stator as well! So far every spring the bike has been torn down to a near skeleton. Ask Marcarl , Wizard765 and JGorom what it looked like last spring when I had emergency surgery... Are you coming to Green Acres this Saturday??
mrc Posted March 8, 2009 Author Posted March 8, 2009 Ruben had never seen a bike stripped and it was hard for him to see his for the first time. I will try a few things but I stay away from the engine. Sorry I can't make it because we are out of town on a fishing trip.
dray Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 thats nothing should have seen my 1100 when it was striped down

Wizard765 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Yep.. They sure don't look as pretty all torn down. Last winter both Marcarl and I had ours down to no plastic. Marcarl had his engine out as well. Looked pretty scary..
