Burninator Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I have a custom trailer being assembled to enable me to transport my Venture from the frozen north in winter to Florida so I can ride it in the winter. What is the proper method of tying the bike down to the trailer. What should I attach the tie downs to on the bike. If you have any photos of a venture on a trailer showing how it is tied down that would be helpful too.
Condor Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 If your side rails are high enough for the straps to clear the fairing off the grips one of these isn't neccessary. CANYON DANCER. Otherwise if your tie points are too low you'll end up possibily messing your fairing up. 4 attachment points. Both grips and two off the bags guards keeps the rear from hopping around. An MC wheel chock in the front will keep everything where it belongs.
