GL1100 Gold Wing

I have a friend who lost his leg in a mc accident. After one year plus his uncle gave him his 82 Gold Wing. He tried riding it some, but the fear overcame him. He asked me if I wanted it (I used to own one) and I am trying to come up with a fair price. It is very clean and the red paint is good. I will have to find out the mileage but it appears mechanically sound. I want to be fair with him, but I don't want to overpay either.

I sold a 81 GL1100 last year on Ebay for $3200. It looked good and had 56k on it and smoked on start up at left bank. A man from New York said he stole it from me. Good luck with your sale it's that time of year.
