50+ degrees in Wisconsin Friday, where we meeting for a late lunch???

Thanks to the slow manufacturing sector, they won't let us go to work tomorrow (damn the luck). Can't see any good reason not to put on a couple hundred miles. We're in Fox Lake; between Madison and Fond du lac. Looking for any suggestions for a lunch stop anywhere in the middle of the state. We're kind of new to the site, but I think what we might be after is an impromptu M&E.

 

We'll watch the site for a while tonight and log on for sure at 9 am tomorrow to discuss any options/takers.

Maybe we phrased things a little wrong?? We know where to find food and drink all over Wisconsin. What we were wondering, is anybody else around here going for a ride tomorrow, and if so, would you like to ride and meet for lunch?

 

We've seen a lot of cheese heads joining here lately, and hope to meet you all someday.

Can you make it later, if we don't find other takers earlier in the day? We have day off and it doesn't have to be lunch as long as we are close to home before dark as the critters are running amock. Just looking to meet new folks both local and distant. Let us know...

Ok, we can't sit home and drink anymore and keep an eye on this screen. We'll check back in the morning at 9 am. Ya, it is only Friday, probably not the greatest time to plan a get together. But, maybe I'm kind of nuts, in past years I've taken vacation days at the last minute just to get some miles on early in the season.

 

If anyone can make it tomorrow, be glad to see you. I hate to mention this, (no offense to the flantlanders) but if we don't get any takers, we might just go to Ill for lunch, just cus we can (only 100 and some miles to the border, and we'll have good evidence)

 

On second thought, maybe we'll check and see how the great venture rider scavenger hunt is going and jump in on that for someting to do.

Bob,

 

It isn't going to happen this weekend for me. Putting the wife and son #2 on a plane at 6:00 am Sat. sending them to watch spring training in Arizona. Then I am taking son #3 to Fort Wayne to visit the folks - in the truck.

 

It will likely be April before I put the insurance back on and get the bike out. After that, would love to get together.
