Well I did it; I installed my new stator from Buckeye. It took me a day and a half, due to the fact that I had to remove the battery and battery box just to get to the stupid stator wire assembly and re-rout it. I completed it late this morning and checked the battery output to make sure I was getting a proper charge. I took it out today for a 50 mile ride, for a good shake down. I also have the vmax rear end gears and I really love the performance upgrade that they have given me. I give a great thumbs up to "Buckeye Performance" and to Blue Ridge Sport Max", for the information and the great parts. :superman:

I am showing about 15.2 volts DC. While I had the bike apart I also went ahead and disconnected the carb heaters. That one was easy. Just so you know I am putting out about the same voltage that I was with the old stator, it's just that the new one puts out a whole lot more wattage. What are you planning on adding to your venture as far as electrically? I want to run the auxiliary lights as well as a full heated gear ensamble. I am going to swap my turn signals and brake light to led in the next few months aswell. :superman:

already have the running lamps, and heated clothes. also run/turn/stoplight module....so i needed the extra amps..........

Thanks N3FOL; I will check the voltage when I get back home this next weekend. I had to leave for work this morning and it rained pretty good yesterday, so I have't had a real good chance to check out the new stator/battery voltage real good yet. I thought that the voltage could run up to 16 vdc with out hurting the battery, I will have to double check on that one. Is there any one out their who knows what the maximum voltage for the battery can be with out over charging it or over heating it? I am looking foward to getting my aux lights and heated warmgear. :superman:
