starriders777 Posted March 1, 2009 #1 Posted March 1, 2009 I took them off today... Easy and it looks so much cleaner, my thoughts anyway. Know i'm looking at the eyebrows . Prob leave them on
painterman67 Posted March 1, 2009 #2 Posted March 1, 2009 We need pics......... It's an adiction you know. David
2WHEELSFORME Posted March 1, 2009 #4 Posted March 1, 2009 My tank emblems are gone and the eyebrows. I also have powder coated black the rear floorboards, rear crash bars, and both fender tips. Black painted the trim under the shield and the chrome trim around the trunk key hole. Looks better in my OP without so many chrome do dads.
starriders777 Posted March 1, 2009 Author #5 Posted March 1, 2009 Here are the pics of without emblems
Pudycat03 Posted March 1, 2009 #6 Posted March 1, 2009 I had my tank repainted and left mine off also (Midnight). Looks smoother and much easier to clean. Also makes some people wonder what kind of bike it really might be.
wild hair 39 Posted March 2, 2009 #7 Posted March 2, 2009 been thinking about pulling the, cowasaki, off, and putting the yamaha,on,but might be a down grading of yamaha
Roadhand Posted March 2, 2009 #8 Posted March 2, 2009 I took mine off the tank and trunk. Prefer the cleaner look as opposed to all the advertizing. Note: if anyone wants the emblems from the tank, let me know as these are very expensive to purchase from Yamaha.
