Additional Comments Located on a hill overlooking the Horseshoe Bend of the Ohio River, The Overlook lives up to its name. The view is spectacular.

The cornmeal breaded whole catfish come two to the plate and are top notch. The fried chicken livers are a favorite. The pot pie is huge and the fried dill pickle spears will serve as a gentle reminder into the afternoon.

Kind of Food? (Mexican, Chinese, etc.) American, it's the Mayberry Cafe after all!

Alcohol Served? No

Additional Comments I have taken a car club and a motorcycle group to this restaurant over the last few years, and been there a couple other times with the wife and friends.

Always good food, TV's with Mayberry RFD playing all the time, take your picture in front of the Ford Black and White sitting out front. Plenty of parking around the town square and the block.

GREAT deserts, medium to low pricing. Worth the trip.:happy65:

Name of Restaurant The Dock

Quality of Food Great

Quality of Service Fantastic

Biker Friendly? (Parking, Trusted Location, Etc.) Yes

Kind of Food? (Mexican, Chinese, etc.) Amrican

Alcohol Served? Yes

Additional Comments Extrememy Motorcycle friendly. The restaurant in right on the Ohio River. It's located in the original town of Levenworth on the Ohio with lots of old homes and great atmosphere. You can be served inside or out. Lots of umbrella covered picnic tables outside on a huge wood deck. Sit in a rocker under huge shade trees and watch tugs & barges go by while waiting on your order. Food is great. Mainly hamburger type stuff , but also fish, clams, oysters & froglegs and full meals too. Beer is cold as well. Pretty cheap too. It's just off Hwy 62, part of the Scenic Byways route, along the Ohio River just a little ways west of Corydon, In. Its just east of the Overlook restaurant which is on top of the Hill in Levenworth. Both are good places to stop. Most riders seem to prefer the Dock, as it's a lot less formal eating. It's a regualr stop for us at least 3-4 times a summer.

Cheers,

Steve
