Jethroish Posted February 26, 2009 #1 Posted February 26, 2009 Mother-in-law was in the garage today and stepped wrong and fell. When she went down, she hit her left eyebrow on the highway peg of the RSV. No broken bones, just a major shiner and 50 stitches. RSV-1, Mother-in-law-0 She is already laughing about it, so all is well.
StarFan Posted February 26, 2009 #3 Posted February 26, 2009 OOOOhhhhh ! Hope the bike did not get damaged !
cecdoo Posted February 26, 2009 #4 Posted February 26, 2009 Wow 50 stitches, thats gonna leave a mark. Guess you are gonna hear about this one for a long time LOL Glad to hear she is taking it well, good luck with her recuperation. Craig
Jethroish Posted February 26, 2009 Author #5 Posted February 26, 2009 Bike is fine. On the way to the ER she even joked about she was glad the bike did not move. She is taking it very well.
Yammer Dan Posted February 26, 2009 #6 Posted February 26, 2009 Think we ought to warn our mother-in-laws???
Lobo Hurfiano Posted February 26, 2009 #7 Posted February 26, 2009 Think of the respect she will get--telling her friends she fell on a M\C

Danimal Posted February 26, 2009 #9 Posted February 26, 2009 I'm so tired of this crap! It's time for a call of peace! When will the mother in laws realize that it's wrong to attack our bikes? I'll be the first person to say it, there is no place in this world for mother in law on venture violence:rotfl:. There it's been said, someone had to say it and we all know it. Anyway I sure hope she heals well and fast you can replace the bike but a great Mom in law is almost impossible to find. Danimal
WilCruise Posted February 26, 2009 #10 Posted February 26, 2009 Think of the respect she will get--telling her friends she fell on a M\C Will probably be referred to as a "motorcycle accident"...

StuD Posted February 26, 2009 #12 Posted February 26, 2009 I was asking a friend about his mother-in -law and his comment was "She is an ANGEL." I said: "You have no idea how lucky you are mines still alive." :rotf::canada:
Marcarl Posted February 26, 2009 #13 Posted February 26, 2009 Is this another case of: I just didn't see it coming???????
BIG TOM Posted February 26, 2009 #14 Posted February 26, 2009 WHAT???? You hit a little old woman with your bike ??? Didn't you see her ?? I think little old women score only 2 points if you hit them..Now ,hitting a jogger is 5 points..
CNY Bob Posted February 26, 2009 #15 Posted February 26, 2009 With all that weight your loosing, it sounds like Tater is doing the driving and your running along-side....... that makes you a "Jogger" and worth 5 points.
scotty Posted February 26, 2009 #16 Posted February 26, 2009 Well I would have to say that she Definitely has bragging rights. "yup, I fell on a RSV and got 50 stitches but the bike is OK." ( we will just omit the other small details.) Have responses ready for the invariable question..."will you ride again?":smile5:
Grandpagak Posted February 26, 2009 #17 Posted February 26, 2009 sorry to hear about her misfortune, but extremely glad that all will be ok..THANK GOD for that..

Kregerdoodle Posted February 26, 2009 #19 Posted February 26, 2009 ya but one of those Yuppie, spandex wearin, ridin in the mid. of the road, bicycle riders is worth 15 points, 20 if they have the funky little helmet on.... WHAT???? You hit a little old woman with your bike ??? Didn't you see her ?? I think little old women score only 2 points if you hit them..Now ,hitting a jogger is 5 points..
