FROG MAN Posted February 22, 2009 #1 Posted February 22, 2009 How much more of this partly cloudy we gonna get? 4 inches of snow last night and still snowing. Weather man says snow season is just getting started. Is it true they delayed spring by 30 days?
Squeeze Posted February 22, 2009 #2 Posted February 22, 2009 Froggy, i've heard from well informed Folks due to the economic Crisis Winter is put on hold and Spring is delayed for 30 to 45 Days. That's the Prognosis as it looks now, the Spring delay could even be delayed further more without notice.

RossKean Posted February 22, 2009 #5 Posted February 22, 2009 Hate that ground hog:bawling: Don't feel too bad. Around here, the six more weeks of winter (from Groundhog day) would be a GOOD thing!! We are currently expecting up to 35 cm (14 inches) of snow in the next 24 hours - this is in addition to the 20 cm we got a few days ago. If I can get the scoot down the driveway, I usually try to manage at least around the block on April 01. If current indications mean anything, I may be waiting more than another 5 weeks. Ross
friesman Posted February 22, 2009 #6 Posted February 22, 2009 Its really ruff here too, I doubt if ill be able to get running by April this year. We still have snow and ice everywhere, and I dont think we have even had a day above freezing yet this year, IT Sucks bad!! Last year I licensed and rode the scoot from Mar 15th on, but it aint happening this year. I spose I shouldnt get too bent out of shape by the weather as my bike is still apart, but its tuff getting this late in Feb and having this cold and snow. Brian
oldandcrotchety Posted February 22, 2009 #8 Posted February 22, 2009 Yeah, things is tough all over. I wish it would finally get out of the mid 60s for a change. One day it's 72, the next it's 65. Never know whether to wear the leather jacket or the Levy vest. Winter can get a person down like that.
