you mean the black plastic plugs on the top on the handlebars where u adjust the ends up and down? if so, last time i checked the dealers could still get them as a special order, or go to flat out motorcycles and check their parts diagrams.

If you think thats bad, you know those little mini hitchpinpins for holding the pin on thebrake pad? $3.00!!! The plastic cover for the pads? $19!!

 

Bought a bag of 4 hairpins the same size from Lowes for 78 cents. Lucked out on an ebay purchase of misc.NOS parts for around $10 that had the plastic cover as well as a bunch of misc parts...

Yeah, I had to buy a couple of those for the '83 when I first got it. Must be the spring steel.....:rotf:

Yep, thats why my 85 still doesnt have the plugs in the handlebars. :bang head::mo money:

I replaced mine with stainless steel plugs I bought at a hardware store. I can't remember the size you need to buy but there is a size that just plugs into the hole. I believe they are used for plugging holes in stainless steel sinks.:D
