Leather Trunk Bib

I was looking at philmartin's illustration and the original bike he based it on- and really like the look of the rear trunk bib.

Does anyone have a supplier for this leather rear bib? I would like to put one on my RSV.

Found a guy in Florida that make such a thing, also for the top of the side bags as well.

Will email you the link to the ebay info when I get home and try to post some of his pictures.

 

Considering the side bag covers, to stop mrs. from kicking the tops when she get on the bike.

The trunk bib used to be Yamaha OEM, but they discontinued it some time last year, I believe.

Hi Birin... I made that. Went to an upholstery shop, bought some fabric, sketched out a template. My mother sewed it and I applied the studs.

I can't find anything on JC Whitney.

I think HOPNEL discontinued making those bibs??

Yes, JCWhitney sold the one made by Hopnel. I have one of the Hopnel ones on my bike also. Don't know why they quit making them.

I searched high and low for one last year. No one had a bib available. Finally found one on the Star Touring site from another member there.

Actually it looks like this guy makes the entire set of tank bib, trunk cover and side bag lid covers. While its different than Phils its still a nice clean look on a G2 scoot!
