In practice you could have the scanner in one location and the printer in another location(the other side of the world). That would save on time and shipping!

Hey, that way you could do all the work and I could look after alll the piddly stuff, like the bills and collecting and other firvilous stuff.

Yes, but they should invent further, then they will come in the right Color right off the Machine.

How about scanning some parts, say a RSV engine to start with, and scaling it down to 1/12 scale and machining it....

Scaling, how so very cool. The possibilities are unlimited. How about a 1/2 scale RSV engine in a V-star 650 frame. How about a 1/20 scale replica of a Mustang P38 engine for a scale airplane project. How about a, well I could go on for days.
