starriders777 Posted February 17, 2009 #1 Posted February 17, 2009 Hey is there anything out there that i can answer calls, I hadn't seen anything but worth asking. Thanks
sbmin Posted February 17, 2009 #2 Posted February 17, 2009 I saw a unit that used blue tooth at centennial that was special for bike helmets but not sure if you could hook into regular head sets
ibents Posted February 17, 2009 #3 Posted February 17, 2009 I haven't heard of anything getting cell call through the radio! I recieve mine through my GPS using Blue tooth. I may be wrong, someone correct me if I am. Ian
SapperMedic Posted February 17, 2009 #4 Posted February 17, 2009 The only thing that I have seen is the Garmen Zumo 550 that does it all, MP3, Intercom and Bluetooth. I went out with Tom, and he was talking to his wife while he was talking to us on the cell. I want (need)one:nanner:
starriders777 Posted February 18, 2009 Author #5 Posted February 18, 2009 zumo looks like the best of all worlds... can talk and always know where your at
Cougar Posted February 18, 2009 #6 Posted February 18, 2009 I use my Zumo 550 and the Buddy Rich Cable. (in-coming and out-going) Works Great! http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15370 Jeff
painterman67 Posted February 18, 2009 #7 Posted February 18, 2009 if you plan on getting a gps talk to buddyrich. He makes a cable to hook the gps to your intcom system and the gps will interface with your phone. Hope thais helps. David
Freebird Posted February 18, 2009 #8 Posted February 18, 2009 I too use the Zumo and Buddy's cable but if you don't want to buy a GPS, there are other options. Kennedy makes what you are looking for: http://www.cellset.com/Motorcycleitems.html
Freebird Posted February 18, 2009 #9 Posted February 18, 2009 I think this is specifically what you will need. http://www.cellset.com/mcbt2.html

Gambit Posted February 18, 2009 #11 Posted February 18, 2009 They also make blue tooth helmets. I mean it isnt through your radio but its using your cell on the bike.
