Radiator Drain Upgrade!

I am shamelessly plugging a classified ad I have posted in the First Gen. Parts Section.

It is the "Fix" for the leaking drain right below the radiator. Included are a new O'Ring and a new Stainless Steel Allen Head Cap Screw and S.S. lock washer to replace the Phillip's Head Screw. Install the upgrade and no more leak. Shipping is included in the price. The three pics below are location of drain, old parts and parts in upgrade. PayPal, Checks, Money Orders excepted.

And after you get the leak stoped , don't ever use the darn thing again.

 

Just drain at the plug under the water pump, flush system with hose, and refill with

 

1 1/2 QT. anti freez, then 1 1/2 QT. distilled water, drive bike, and top off the Over flow bottle the next day.

I'll say here what I just said to a poster in the watering hole. It has become a regular thing to either post ads on the forum or post them in the classifieds and THEN post them in the forum also. The classifieds are the only place that ads need to be listed. The problem with posting them in the forums is that they end up staying long after they should have expired or they get deleted while still available.
