Cougar Posted February 16, 2009 #1 Posted February 16, 2009 It has been a while since I have asked this Question. Has anybody come up with an Idea or do they make any kind of extension for the passenger for 99+RSV yet ? That is her only complaint on longer rides. I saw these today but don't think they will work http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/18/scID/122/IMID/1009 Just wondering. Thanks, Jeff
usnmustang Posted February 16, 2009 #2 Posted February 16, 2009 If the bolt spacing is right, they might work. But, you would have to cut the stock plastic cover since the stock mounts go into the holes. The Kuryakan's look like they have a solid mounting plate instead of the "spacer" holes. You could always call a well stocked dealer to see if they have any you could 'test fit'. Good luck.
50btripn Posted February 16, 2009 #3 Posted February 16, 2009 do as I did...get a shorter wife:rotfl:
BuckShot Posted February 16, 2009 #4 Posted February 16, 2009 Put a phone book on the seat for her to sit on:rotf: That would look real good on that new trike (HE HE HE) Gil
friesman Posted February 16, 2009 #5 Posted February 16, 2009 here is some pics and a write up of how some other guys with long legged gals fixed the issue. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=261564#post261564 Brian
Cougar Posted February 17, 2009 Author #6 Posted February 17, 2009 Thanks, YES http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=16960 Thats it.. I might even make it a tad longer Down.. It will be on a trike so I would not have to worry about the leaning problems. Thanks So much Guys. I also think the shorter wife and phone book is a pretty good idea as well but I was thinking the peg conversion might be cheaper. *lol* Jeff
