Guest Shep Posted February 16, 2009 #1 Posted February 16, 2009 I am messing around with installing end weights to Kuryakyn grips. I want to keep my Kury throttle rocker - but for this application I will need to glue/epoxy it to either the end cap or the wend weight. So - what should I use to make sure this thing sticks to the other piece of metal? Thanks folks, Shep
pegscraper Posted February 16, 2009 #2 Posted February 16, 2009 I'm assuming you mean the stock end weights? If you want to keep the K throttle rocker or use any of their fancy colored trim rings, the way to do this is not to gouge out the ends of the grips, but to turn the shoulders of the weights down in a lathe so that they will fit through the grips. If you don't have a lathe yourself, you could take them to a machine shop. Then you'll have to use some loctite to hold them in place in the handlebars.
