All I done was fire up the wood stove at the camp and the party started. Pitter patter of many feet dancing in the attic. Nuts rolling across the floor, chatter of conversation. I thought it might be Saturday night bowling in the camp attic. Then I read that February is the annual mating season of the flying squirrel. Ramona and I watched a movie about pissed off squirrels doing a little nut cracking of a different type. Not sure now about smoking them out in the spring.Flying squirrels eat meat to so at least they keep the insects down.Another thing about that old house. I have never seen any sign of mice.Still that upstairs attic gets noisy when the party starts.

Lived in a house had a couple of them thar critters. Never got to sleep through the night. Scorpions in the bed don't help none either. 'specially if you lay down on one!!!

Better keep a close eye on yer electrical wiring in the attic.....those squirrels will gnaw the insulation right off the wires.

Boomer.....who believes squirrels belong in a stew pot and not the attic.

Have you tried a shot gun from below yet? A friend of mine was headed to his attic with a rifle until his wife asked to explain what he thought he was going to do. He reconsidered and went to plan b, fixing the place where they were getting in.

Shotgun was tempting several times this weekend. I keep a loaded Mossberg 500 at the camp. MamaMo gets pissed when I start blowing holes in things. It's okay if she does it shooting a possums but not for me?

You know how many of those little critters you got to skin to make a mess?? Not much meat there!! Warden had one for a pet. Cute little thing ran everywhere. Vanished one day and cat looked contented.:confused24:
