sleepy2 Posted February 13, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2009 Anyone else going to Port Dover for Friday 13th ? My son's will be along with a friend from work. NO we will not be ridding as good chance of bad weather and it is raining right now and around freezing temp. Wanted to but don't want to take a chance(long season to go) If we have time we might be able to stop in to Carl's in Brantford on the way back. I guess we could be like some other bikers and sneak bike in on trailer and just fib about ridding there. Going to the New Sarum for breakfast at 8:45 and then heading to Port Dover but most likely on 4 wheels. Saw you on the road a couple time's taking pictures but by the time I figured out it was you and I found a place to park(I was driving a white Mazda(Ranger)pickup with topper and bush bar on front) you had disapeared. Kept looking and taking pictures and spotted 2 83-85 Ventures riding around and then parked in Timmi's but didn't know the riders.Also seen(uuuugggg:happy-emoticon:) the next new THONG MAN ridding around. Mike - there's a long history behind Friday the 13th, Port Dover and the biking community. Each time there is one there is a gathering of bikers - last year set a record with over 30,000 bikes and over 120,000 people (it was in June). This year there are 3: February, March and November.
