HeathersWheels Posted February 12, 2009 #1 Posted February 12, 2009 How many of you motorcycle riding love birds have plans for Valentine's Day? I so wanted to go for a country ride. Mother nature has other plans, supposed to get thunder storms Saturday and Sunday. Maybe he will take me to the movies.
SilvrT Posted February 13, 2009 #2 Posted February 13, 2009 Nina & I have booked a room at a downtown hotel. It's close to the Yale blues nightclub ( http://theyale.ca/ ) where we plan to party hardy till the wee hours of the morning (well that might be a bit of an exaggeration LOL ). This night out was an xmas gift from Nina to me so we've been excited about this weekend arriving for quite a while. I have a feeling I'll be "paying" come Sunday (and Monday and maybe even Tuesday LOL but it will be worth it).
HeathersWheels Posted February 13, 2009 Author #3 Posted February 13, 2009 what a great weekend you two have planned.
Sailor Posted February 13, 2009 #4 Posted February 13, 2009 Usualy good music at the Yale. My birthday is the 19th so we are having a Valentines day/birthday party at the Legion on the 14th. Got music and food lined up. Should be a good crowd. No plans for Sunday...or Monday.
SilvrT Posted February 13, 2009 #5 Posted February 13, 2009 Usualy good music at the Yale.. I used to hang out there on a regular basis when I was single... never saw a time when the music wasn't good although sometimes it's better than others. Saw Jim Byrnes there once..that was awesome! 'nuther group I once knew quite well called Dog Skin Suit ( http://www.dogskinsuit.com/ ) out of Kelowna played there and I hung out with them for the evening...I spent a lot of time with them when I lived in Kamloops and went to their gigs there and in Kelowna. Kinda lost track of them over the last couple years. BTW... Happy B/Day!!!
