halfwitt Posted February 11, 2009 #2 Posted February 11, 2009 It's gotta be a money scam somehow...maybe they get credit card info to ship the mutts to you? I haven't see this one before. Hey but there is a real Rev Tony Brown: http://www.fbcwhitesburg.org/staff/pastor.html
painterman67 Posted February 11, 2009 #3 Posted February 11, 2009 spounds more like a way to get your permission to fill your email with junk. Some thing similiar happened to me. Good luck David
1BigDog Posted February 11, 2009 #4 Posted February 11, 2009 Wonder just how much shipping would cost for two "puppies" from Africa.......
mini-muffin Posted February 11, 2009 #5 Posted February 11, 2009 Evidently you aren't the only person to get this email here's a link to others. Definitely a scam. Heck he says with a family of one wife and three kids. Nobody talks like that. http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=50&pst=782158 Margaret
BoomerCPO Posted February 11, 2009 #6 Posted February 11, 2009 I would ignore that e-mail if I were you. Boomer.....who suspects that the 2 "pets" you will get will be 2 crated, hungry,PO'd African lions..........and if that is the case....Whatcha gonna do then Willus????
mraf Posted February 12, 2009 #7 Posted February 12, 2009 Heck he says with a family of one wife and three kids. Nobody talks like that. http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=50&pst=782158 Margaret You would if you were a X Mormon raising billygoats.:rotfl:
Monsta Posted February 12, 2009 #8 Posted February 12, 2009 There is no such place as Alagonda. Plus, those two puppies would feed a lot of starving Africans... Send him a recipe.
Hummingbird Posted February 12, 2009 #9 Posted February 12, 2009 SCAM is definitely the proper description - I'm not too far from "Ohio, Cleveland USA" so ask him for his church address and I'll get some of his parishioners to adopt his PUPPIES. I really enjoy pi$$ing with those nigerians.
KiteSquid Posted February 12, 2009 #10 Posted February 12, 2009 I note in the e mail the mixed use of proper English and the shorthand that some people use on their cell phones to text message. Also the use of all capital letters is suspect.
utadventure Posted February 12, 2009 #11 Posted February 12, 2009 You would if you were a X Mormon raising billygoats.:rotfl: And I thought we all had 7 wives and 50 plus kids (thankfully not!!) :rotf:
CrazyHorse Posted February 12, 2009 #12 Posted February 12, 2009 Evidently you aren't the only person to get this email here's a link to others. Definitely a scam. Heck he says with a family of one wife and three kids. Nobody talks like that. http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=50&pst=782158 Margaret I agree many foreign languages change the position of words compared to English. Like we would say There goes the dog" they would say "There dog goes." Like the Ohio, Cleveland we would say CLeveland, Ohio. Multiple wives etc. Sounds like a foreign scam to me and why would you get the email out of all the persons in the world.
SapperMedic Posted February 12, 2009 #13 Posted February 12, 2009 You would if you were a X Mormon raising billygoats. Last time I checked, we hadn't had multiple wives in over 100 years, but I will ask Marsha or was it Julie, maybe Teresa,
flb_78 Posted February 12, 2009 #14 Posted February 12, 2009 I would ignore that e-mail if I were you. Boomer.....who suspects that the 2 "pets" you will get will be 2 crated, hungry,PO'd African lions..........and if that is the case....Whatcha gonna do then Willus???? I'd be OK with a pair of lions. Might have to buy some more land and a taller fence though.
