Thanks for the update Rick.

 

When I spoke with the charge nurse, she told me that Pete was very tired and sleeping so she did not want to wake him up. Never told me he was having trouble staying awake.

 

Learned a long time ago not to argue with Mother Nature. She really does know what is best for us....

Just got off the phone with the nurse on Pete's ward.

 

Pete is still not up to taking any calls. He is still drowsy, but he is waking up more now and is stable.

Hi folks. Just got home from Saskatoon. I did get to see Pete very briefly this morning about 11:30. He was very tired and sleepy, but he did recoginize me and called me by name. I told him everyone from this website was rooting for him. His daughter was there and said they have been reading all the posts to Pete. As I mentioned, it was very brief. Visiting hours where he was really were not until 2:00 pm, so were we busting the rules and did not want to cause too much trouble. His wife Hazel was also there, but I did not get a chance to talk to her....next time.
