Hi gang. Is it possible to remove the rear shock and the fender will

not hit the tire? so It can be put on a lift and carted off to my

dealer for my trike conversion? I was wondering if removing the

rear shock would cause any problems , A person that owns

a second gen needs a shock pretty soon. otherwise he has

to wait until about the 2nd week of March.

If I can remove it, what is the procedure on doing that?

Almost looks as if I would have to remove the Tire.. ummmm

maybe I otta let them remove it. *lol*

My Poor Bike is almost NAKED NOW *sigh*

Basically I was wondering if it was a BIG deal or not.

Thanks,

Jeff

I removed to center stand to sell it *lol*

BUT , I do have a Jack, that I have used to raise

the entire bike to remove my rear tire though.

the bike would squat in the rear untill the fender hits the tire and then fall over because the kick stand would be too tall to hold up the bike.

Put bike on the jack and remove the bags, should be able to get to all the bolts and remove the shock after that. Raise and lower the jack as needed to remove the bolts and pins.
