BoomerCPO Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 After 3 days of 40F temps I am no longer ice bound!! Took the scoot out on the road today and nailed down a solid 4 hour ride. The seat mod that Rick Butler did is just PERFECT and added to my extreme pleasure. Boomer.....with a grin from ear to ear. Note to Mother Nature: Pfffffffffffttttttttttt and in yer ear!
big mike Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 AMEN BROTHER AMEN. Big Mike who shot that stupid groundhog from the grassy knoll!!! COME ON SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leadwolf56 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Exactly! Got mine started today, should have the chance to take her out tomorrow barring any rain. We had Rick modify our seats too as our Black Cherry has Midnight seats on it. He does great work doesn't he?

I felt NO pressure on my tailbone whatsoever. 4 hours in the saddle and it felt like a 15 minute ride. Unbelievable!!! Boomer......who's now afraid to fart and ruin the seat.....
Leadwolf56 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 We did the Memphis ride to St. Judes the week we got ours back. 1310 miles in a 3 day weekend! No problem riding all day. We were very impressed.
BigBoyinMS Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Wife and i called up a GoldWing buddy and his wife and we ended up doing 300 miles Saturday. Brandon,MS to West Monroe,LA for lunch and then back. As much as we enjoyed it, it would have been a little better without the 20 mph crosswinds.
eazyduzzit Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 It's been in the 60s and 70s here (Knoxville, TN) for the last 3 days. There was a Bike show downtown Saturday, so we had bikes everywhere you looked. Great weekend for it. I rode to work today and had a huge smile on my face all the way home.
