Updating signal light lens

What year did Yamaha start using clear lens on their signal lamps? My 2001 RSV has the amber color & I want to change them out to clear. Thanks for any info you can give. Bill

I think it was 2005, but I am not positive. Should be simple matter to check the part numbers in the on-line parts manuals on Yamahaha web site and see when it changes.

I just bought them for my 99. The 2007 has the clear lenses so that is the year I ordered them for. They work great. Not sure of the exact year.

Just to jump in here, I've got an 06 RSV and it has the clear len's. I'm the second owner but I'm sure the first fellow didn't add them for bike was mostly stock..

You will need two of each part number Yamaha # 1D6-83312-10

# 1D6-83312-20

You will also need four amber bulbs.

 

Hope this helps, lens where less than $20 for all four at my local dealer.
