Sideoftheroad Posted February 9, 2009 #1 Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) I can download all my sent items, but it won't let me download to a txt file for my inbox. When I am in my inbox and click on txt, it still brings up sent items. Seems to only do sent items regardless if I choose XML, CSV or Text. Edited February 9, 2009 by Sideoftheroad
V7Goose Posted February 9, 2009 #2 Posted February 9, 2009 I have NO idea what you are talking about.
BuddyRich Posted February 9, 2009 #3 Posted February 9, 2009 Did you select ALL ? Kent in the bottom of the PM's theres an option to download on a dropdown
Sideoftheroad Posted February 10, 2009 Author #4 Posted February 10, 2009 well...I didn't have to select any of them when I did the sent items. I just clicked on the word text under the words download all private messages. I didn't use the drop down. I went back and selected all the ones in my inbox and selected to download as text. It did the same thing. It is only downloading my sent items.
BuddyRich Posted February 10, 2009 #5 Posted February 10, 2009 That's weird. I just tried it and it downloaded my inbox. I select "download as text" from the drop down that has "move to folder" just under the last message on the right side.
BigShell Posted February 10, 2009 #6 Posted February 10, 2009 Working here. Near the bottom, right hand side it says: Download all Private Messages as: XML | CSV | Text Clicking Text downloads both the sent folder and the inbox (sent folder and messages followed by the inbox and messages). Works from either folder ( sent or inbox ). I know "Works for me" isn't much help to someone having a problem, but it is all I can offer.
Sideoftheroad Posted February 10, 2009 Author #7 Posted February 10, 2009 Bigshell, That is what I thought too, but I compared both my inbox and sent items to make sure it did download everything and it didn't. Just my sent items. Buddy, Went back and tried your method. And it worked this time (at least from work). I will try it again from home but I saved the file so I e-mail to my home e-mail address. Just seems to be an issue when you use download all messages like Bigshell described.
