Fellow RSTD'ers. As some of you know I laid my 07 RSTD (only 3 months old) - down a while back :( It was a sad day indeed. Wife just had surgery last week to mend her broken finger and repair a nerve. Other than that only cuts and bruises.

I traded my skinned-up RSTD on a Stratoline "S" model and have some parts that I no longer need and would like to sell. Need some "goodies" for the liner. I have a couple of these in the classifieds, but a lot of folks just don't look in there.

Here is a brief list and prices OBO:

Baron's 4-2-4's - perfect condition - $300.00 SOLD

HD Fairing - SOLD to Mountianhorsega

Pair of chrime wide muffler clamps - Will throw them in if you buy the mufflers. SOLD

Full set of Mustang seats - wide touring and studded - about 3 weeks old - $500.00

Utopia backrest used about a week before going to the Mustangs - Will have to check my invoice for price... SOLD

I am sure I have other stuff - but that is a start....

Thanks,

Shep

Hey Shep, sorry to hear about the misfortune. Why did you go with the Strat and not another TD?

But, just wondering about those Baron 4-2-4's, they have an above average rumble or real aggressive thump? Meaning, just loud or hold your ears loud? And do you have the Jewel Tips on them or just standard? Also saw from your pics that you have that aftermaket big-rig horn mounted. Is it a good unit to have and if so, is it for sale?

If you already have them on eBay, what is your seller name? Not finding anything on there concerning Baron's mufflers.

Thanks for the info and good luck with the new bike.

See below and I will do my best to answer yourquestions:

Hey Shep, sorry to hear about the misfortune. Why did you go with the Strat and not another TD?

For a couple of reasons -

1. I think I stand a better chance getting my wife back on this bike because of it being different. She didn't tell me til after the lay-down - she was a little uncomfortable with the RSTD.

2. The RSTD always seemed a little top heavy for me no matter what I tried, and I could just not get comfortable. And yet I loved the bike. :)

But, just wondering about those Baron 4-2-4's, they have an above average rumble or real aggressive thump? Meaning, just loud or hold your ears loud?

I really loved the 4-2-4's - Loud but not too loud - I even took the packing out of them. Nice rumble at idle and "mean" in a climb or throttle crank.

And do you have the Jewel Tips on them or just standard?

No they don't come with tips and I didn't want to pay the ridiculous prices for them.

Also saw from your pics that you have that aftermaket big-rig horn mounted. Is it a good unit to have and if so, is it for sale?

In my opinion - the Stebel horn should be the first aftermarket upgrade/mod that anyone does. I think it is the #1 safety mod. I have saved my bacon several times from peeps starting to pull out in front of me.

Not on Ebay yet - was heading that way this weekend - would much rather sell them to one of the VR users. Let me know if you are still interested

Thanks for all the info.

So when you say $300 do you mean $300 shipped? If so, then I could probally do it. If like you say they don't have any damage or scratches. And how are you requiring payment? You do PayPal? Also wondering, you said you took the packing out. So then you were running them like straight drap-pipes?

I will meet you 1/2 way on the shipping. I will pay 1/2 of whatever it costs to get them to you! So that would be $300 +1/2 shipping. IF we split it - shouldn't too much for either one of us.

Yes - I was running them without the packing - but I have the packing still and I can send that with you. It was without the packing - but with the baffles in...

Just let me know. Contact me at shep@totegote.org and I will give you my paypal info.

Thanks,

Shep

Almost forgot - if you give me a zip code I can find out how much the shipping is.
