Has any one used Lazer Star Billet lights on a Venture? If so how do you like them & what kind of a adapater did you use going from the light to the blinker? My lights are U.S. & the mount for the blinker is Metric. Thanks!!:confused07:

Thanks, but do you have the Manufacturer's URL??????

I cant find it.

BTW those look like they take the MR16 or MR11 size bulbs.... in-case you want a different wattage or beam pattern.

Lazer Star is the name. 50w Bullet spot light. Part # DS-280850. You can find them under weekend concepts & Lazer star. thanks:doh: They don't have a metric mounting bolt to fit the light. The yamaha mount for the blinker is metric. is there a different way to mount the blinker? A short pipe with a flat washer welded to the end so you can pot a nut inside it to hold to the driving light. then slip the blinker over the pipe?????? trying to mount them to a venture light bar instade of the lights yamaha sales. I am finding that yamahas lights would be a lot easer to mount.

Eck et al,

I recognized the usual suspects URLs as bike parts retailers, but I did not actually click on all the links as once I recognised the first three, I glossed over the last one as an online bike parts retailer, not as the manufacturer... sorry.

I went to the Weekend Concepts website and found the lights. as stated above, they are housings that take either the MR16 (Bullet types) or MR11 (Micro Bullet types) series bulbs, similar to the Kuryaken lamps.

These are interesting lamps.

As far as mounting them, somewhere on the web I have seen studs that are SAE on one end and Metric threaded on the other, if this is problem that Reed is referring to. or buy a piece of un-threaded rod, and thread one end metric and the other SAE. Or you can buy a bolt that has one of the threads you need that has an un-threaded section, cut the head off, and thread the other side with the other thread...
