Pudycat03 Posted February 5, 2009 #28 Posted February 5, 2009 I love snow, it is beautiful. I like pictures of it on the mountains. It was weird tonight after riding in 70 degree weather to see it on the news however. On of the perks of living in Phoenix.
friesman Posted February 5, 2009 #30 Posted February 5, 2009 Winter has been so long around here that everyone wants it to end!!!!! Brian
az1103 Posted February 5, 2009 #31 Posted February 5, 2009 Snow? What snow? It's supposed to be cold tomorrow - 68 , but I don't think it'll snow!.....

FozzyUSN Posted February 6, 2009 #33 Posted February 6, 2009 Snow does not bother me one bit. It is the ice beneath the snow and the IDIOTS above the snow that get on my nerves.
WilCruise Posted February 7, 2009 #35 Posted February 7, 2009 Here's Mary in front of the house the other night. They were saying we beat the annual average snowfall before the end of December (maybe early January) this year if I remember correctly. Yes it's well over her head. Yes that's a window it tops up at. Can't use the front door. Snow blower can't throw it high enough anymore. We've gotten hammered south of Boston this year. Tired of snow?... WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?!? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3485/3259342488_9f0abd92ac.jpg?v=0
kj4v Posted February 7, 2009 #36 Posted February 7, 2009 I was so disgusted with all the snow up north of Georgia I decided to take a weekend in Pigeon Forge,Tn and see if it helps. Temp tomorrow is 65 and sunday is 68. Should have rode but didn't. Just jumped in the Hemi and here we are, hot tub and all.....Ken :mo money:ps doing my part to help the economy!
greg_in_london Posted February 7, 2009 #37 Posted February 7, 2009 Tired of the snow - you must be joking - no work Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday in school without any kids and just catching up, Thursday and Friday no school buses so only a few kids made it in and I didn't have to teach anyone. If the forecasts are right we'll have Monday off too. Snow - bring it on...
ddoggma Posted February 7, 2009 #38 Posted February 7, 2009 (edited) High 40s today and mid 50s sunday, here in Philly. Theres 3 inches on the ground, so todays gonna be wet from the melting. But, at least I'll get her ready for tommorrow, and take a small ride today. Winter must go! Me no like. Edited February 7, 2009 by ddoggma typo
KeithR Posted February 7, 2009 #39 Posted February 7, 2009 Speaking of snow....have a look at this Snowmobile from 1926.....pretty amazing video ! Keith http://tywkiwdbi.blogspot.com/2009/01/1926-snowmobile-could-pull-20-ton-load.html
SilvrT Posted February 7, 2009 #40 Posted February 7, 2009 This is almost the middle of February ... we've had snow on the ground since the middle of Dec. .. this is Vancouver folks... snow NEVER stays on the ground longer than a week usually. Global warming they say???... yep... I've seen warmer temps in the YUKON & ALASKA than we've had here so what that tells me is it's warming up in the far north and pushing all the cold down south. At least the snow is slowly disappearing and my street doesn't look like this pic anymore.
Badhardtail Posted February 7, 2009 #41 Posted February 7, 2009 Hey Keith, Thanks so much for the video clip of the snow machine. I wonder why an updated version of this machine style is not done? We could use something like that here in Vermont! Joshua
