skydoc_17 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I have been trying to get in touch with Paul, (TupperJ) about a set of his nifty battery cables and have not had any luck. When I checked his profile it looks as if he hasn't posted to this site since October of last year. Has anyone heard from him? Is he OK? My concern is not so much the cables but his well being. Is Paul the only person currently making up the cable sets? So many questions, Earl

So many questions, Earl Earl, I have not seen him on the site in a long time, I too hope that he is fairing well with all thats going on these days. I'll try to get ahold of him and see how he's doing, if we can't get ahold of him I may start to make the battery cables again.
barend Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Brad, Made my own set per your direction. Found the battery lugs to be a bit cumbersome to deal with with the re-install though and wouldn't mind finding something a tad smaller. Regardless I am talking to "Rody" about making him a set, which I will likely do this weekend. I'll get enough supplies to make several. (Got that Rody?)
lonestarmedic Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Earl- I have the huge hex crimpers, a pile of 4 gauge cable and lugs. I could make these cables. I would need to pull a set off of the wrecked 1986 out back and measure them. I also have red and black heat shrink. I make all of my own cables. Used to do a lot of electrical work on fire trucks and ambulances. I'll give someone else a chamce to jump in. If not give me a yell and we will get a set made. Just need to revisit the design and look at the smaller (10 gauge) accessory and charging cables. JB
